We tend to record at 48khz with 24-bit depth for our multi-channels; however, this also depends on the capabilities of the venue mixing desk. We will never record below 44.1khz and 16bit. Our automated preview mp3s are exported at 128kbps.Some readersWhat if I have other questions?

First and foremost, we have no legal right to do anything with the recordings without you, the artists, express permission. All recordings are kept safely in our secure cloud and will not be used without your agreement. Setmixer owns the master rights to the recordings; however, the artists retain both the performance and composition copyright (if it is an original song). We cannot and will not do anything with any of the recordings without the expressed permission of the artists involved.Few readersWhy is my recording not clear?
We record directly from the mixing desk, pre-fader and pre-effects. Because we record every single channel from the desk, sometimes we record channels that are not in use or have empty mics attached, which can affect our automix (currently). This means that some of the noise from empty channels can be heard in the automix. However, once you have the multi-channels, you can mute the empty or noisy channels and retain a perfect mix of your set!Few readersWhich venues do you have your recorder in?
